My daughter and her husband are expecting a baby girl (we know that now, thanks to Starry Night!) We had a sonogram and hid the sex from everyone but the sonogram tech (this includes the parents-to-be) I delivered the sealed envelope to Starry Night and asked them to open the sealed envelope when I left and to make a yellow cake with French Butter Cream icing, to decorate the outside with blue and pink (generic) but to tint the inside of the cake either pink or blue (the results of the sonogram) My daughter and son-in-law had a small reception with about 50 people and after dinner they cut into the cake together! So all 50 of us were able to see that the baby was a girl! The cake was such a hit! No one had ever heard of the idea! Everyone there wore either pink if they thought it was a girl or blue for a boy! The whole room including the servers were so into the cutting of the cake. The cake was beautifully decorated and was truly the most delicious cake we have ever ordered anywhere. The staff at Starry Night were so professional and made this day a day to remember for the rest of our lives! Starry Night will be forever involved in our families special occassions. I cannot thank you all enough for making this such a wonderful night!
